The Nomad Meditation Bench features a groundbreaking design that combines comfort, portability, and flexibility in a way that sets it apart from other meditation benches. Available in two colors – natural and black – and two sizes – Medium (Nomad 1) and Large (Nomad 2) – this kneeling bench is designed to be used specifically in the kneeling or seiza sitting position. Handcrafted in the USA just outside of Seattle, the Nomad was created by Norwegian architect, Asmund Skard.

There are two sizes to choose from: Nomad 1 is smaller and more portable, while Nomad 2 is larger and allows for a higher sitting position. The Nomad 1 has an adjustable sitting height ranging from approximately 5” to 9.5”, while the Nomad 2 adjusts from around 6” to 11”. If you prefer a lighter, more compact bench for travel and have flexible knees, Nomad 1 is the perfect choice. On the other hand, if you are taller or have less flexible knees, Nomad 2 may be more suitable.

Nomad 1 folds to a compact size of 17” x 6.25” x 1.5” and weighs 1 lb. 9 oz., while Nomad 2 folds to 19” x 7” x 1.5” and weighs 2 lbs. 1 oz. Both benches feature a hammock-style seat that molds to your body, ensuring comfort during long meditation sessions. Their lightweight and foldable design make them ideal for travel, fitting easily into a backpack or suitcase.

In addition to being comfortable and portable, the Nomad Meditation Bench is also adjustable. With a strong Velcro closure, you can easily change the height of the bench to suit your requirements.
